I feel that there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people.
I believe visual design in both graphics and photographs serve many purposes. They can draw people in to your vision, and in turn motivate them to take action.
Visual design enables organizations to communicate what they are all about.
My name is Klaire, and I have had the unique opportunity to use graphics and photography in a variety of ways. As a student at James Madison University, I studied Media Arts and Design, with a concentration in Integrated Advertising and Corporate Communication. Throughout that program, I was able to create several marketing campaigns with different teams of students. After researching our demographic through surveys and brainstorming, we were able to create copy and visuals that enabled us to reach them and speak directly to them.
After I graduated from college, I started two part time jobs at once. I was a part time coordinator at a large youth group of 150 students, and also a self employed wedding photographer. While working for our youth group, I continually created graphics for events and study topics, planned small and large scale events, coordinated leaders and volunteers, and mentored high school girls one on one. As a wedding photographer, I continually learned new branding technics, honed in on my photographic voice, and learned a great deal of social media strategy.
